Jaime Smilovici is a Licensed Master of Social Worker. Jaime has 20 years experience working as a school social worker in the Phoenix, Glendale, and Cave Creek Communities. Most of her work has been focused on Kindergarten- 8th grade school students from diverse backgrounds including many special needs students. She has also taught an anti-bullying curriculum to all of the elementary schools in Cave Creek Unified School District. Her passion is empowering girls to become more assertive, gain more self-confidence and teach them valuable social and emotional skills to keep them mentally strong. Mrs. Jaime also is a Mom to two teenage boys and a cute cocker spaniel named Piper. She recently began working at Mason Jar Boutique, which is one of her happy places, along with hiking and the beach. She has seen the challenges girls face in recent years with social media, friendships, body image, self-esteem, depression and anxiety. In her groups, she develops rapport and trust with girls easily and is inspired by their social and emotional growth.
Mrs. Jaime's girls groups are comprised of different interactive sessions with a focus on Friendship, Self-Esteem, Problem-Solving, Identifying Feelings, Mindfulness, Coping skills, Social Media, Body image, and anxiety (age specific). Girls learn tools for life in a fun, safe, non-judgmental environment. My mission involves meeting each student where they are with empathy, love and compassion while providing them the platform to explore their feelings, goals and frustrations. I also incorporate female guest speakers and high school students for informational and mentoring opportunities.
I appreciate your interest in helping our girls in our community. I am happy to talk to you personally if you have any questions. Please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 602-402-0287. Each student who participates truly becomes part of my "family".
